You're invited to join us in Dublin!

Invitation Letter from the Metabolomics 2016 Hosts University College Dublin

We are delighted to extend this invitation to you to join us for Metabolomics 2016, the 12th Annual Conference of the Metabolomics Society. University College Dublin will be your hosts for the event which will be held in Ireland's new world-class purpose-built international conference and event venue The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD). The CCD is situated in the heart of Dublin city with panoramic views of the River Liffey, the city centre and the Wicklow Mountains.

With the help of the International Organising Committee and the scientific community we have planned an exciting mix of workshops, plenary speakers and scientific sessions which will take place over 4 days, from the 27th to the 30th of June 2016.

As one of Europe's most popular destinations, Dublin offers visitors an endless amount of things to see and do, many of which are within walking distance of The CCD. To provide a memorable taste of Ireland, we have put together a selection of social activities including a welcome reception, a young researcher's mixer and a traditional Irish banquet including food, drink and our world-famous entertainment. For those of you who wish to experience more that Dublin and Ireland has to offer there will be information and opportunities to do so before and after the meeting.

Located in Dublin's city centre, The CCD is just 20 minutes from the Dublin airport and is therefore easily accessible whether you are travelling from within Ireland, the UK, mainland Europe, or indeed anywhere in the world. There is also an excellent range of hotels and student accommodation within easy reach of the conference venue.

Given Ireland's popularity as a destination of choice, the excellent scientific programme and the accessibility for international delegates we expect strong support for the conference. On behalf of the Local Organising Committee and the Metabolomics Society Board we once again want to take this opportunity to invite you to Metabolomics 2016.
